Study Process ~ Transversal topics
The International Council meeting in 2005 and 2006 recognised that a number of 'transversals' were needed. The seven 'transversals' are important topics or perspectives which run like a thread across all the main study themes. From 2009 onwards the transversals were mapped by identifying groups working on these topics which were willing to contribute to Edinburgh 2010. Specialists in these topics were invited to the conference to interact with discussion on the main study themes.
The topics covered by the 'transversals' are listed below. Click on the links to find out about each of these perspectives on mission.
If you, your institution or organisation would like to contribute your research to one of the transversal topics, please contact the Edinburgh 2010 Research Coordinator, Dr. Kirsteen Kim (firstname.lastname@example.org).
